This is a video promo of the annual Budo Ryu Shinobi no Mono Stealth Camp! During this camp all of the students had a really good time, they trained hard and learned a lot. We trained in various areas of stealth such as stealth walking, Shinobi iri, inpo, tonpo, sentry removal, evasion, infiltration, extraction, military movement and team / unit missions. We also trained in Kobujutsu and Taijutsu. In the Kobujutsu section of the camp we explored the kyoketsu shoge, kusarigama and the shuriken. Here is a video of the Annual Budo Ryu Ninjutsu KU Training Event. In this video I really tried to show both the hard and the soft part of Budo. Many times people only do kata and never really look into their own skills and ability to make themselves better, they just try to make the kata better. You have to experience the kata and the training that goes along with it to truly understand the essence of the martial arts. In the event we did a lot of rapid response training, kumite, ground fighting, weapons kumite as well as surprise attacks and multiple attacks. IF YOU DO NOT TRAIN IN A FAST PACE INTENSE ARENA HOW DO YOU TRULY KNOW THAT YOU CAN DO IT? BECAUSE SOMEONE SAID SO? Is that someone going to fight for you when you life is on the line? Do not cheat yourself in the arts, know your weaknesses and get better. Keep challenging yourself to achieve the excellence that you are striving for.
